Employing a bookkeeper frees up your time to do what you’re good at, running your business. I can get that scary box of receipts and invoices in order, complete your VAT return, manage your day to day invoicing, keep your cashflow moving, pay suppliers, run your payroll, produce monthly management reports and generally get your day to day finances organised, which is key to running a successful company.

A bookkeeper needs to be conscientious, have an eye for the detail and treat information in a confidential manner, I apply these qualities to all my clients from freelancers to small and medium sized companies. I’m happy to work in your studio/office or from my own office using Quickbooks, Sage, Excel or online software.

Qualifications

The professional qualification I have in bookkeeping is the Pitman Foundation Level 2 which covers all aspects of bookkeeping from converting accounts from single entry to double entry bookkeeping right through to preparing a profit & loss report and year end balance sheet. I'm happy to show you my certificates upon request. In the past six years I've worked for various clients including a freelancer, two design agencies and a tour operator. These roles have required a good knowledge of each business, working closely with the company accountants to get the accounts ready for year end.
